- Is also a fashion model and recording artist.
- The "Eva" part of her name comes from a comic strip when a friend said she was similar to the comic strip character Eva Kant. "Robin's" was decided upon during a vacation as a friend was reading a Harold Robbin's book.
- Lends much of her spare time to the Italian Miss Alternative show, which is an annual Aids benefit in her hometown of Bologna.
- One of the few transexuals who made the transition into legitimate acting.
- She's not exactly a transsexual but suffers from a relatively rare syndrome: in spite of being genetically a male and looking like a normal boy during childhood, after reaching puberty, she naturally developed female secondary sexual characters instead of male.
