- Breakthrough cabaret show 'Heist' in 1991 with Roland Smeenk. They won the 'Camaretten Festival' with it. A big future was predicted for them, but Smeenk died in a road accident in 1992. Hans Teeuwen didn't perform for a long while after that.
- He received two gold records, because the CD versions of his shows Trui and Dat Dan Weer Wel were both sold over 40,000 times.
- Recorded an album, called One for my baby, full of Frank Sinatra songs in 2001.
- Doesn't like interviews because it takes away some of his exclusivity and his mystery, he says.
- Good friend of colleague Theo Maassen, whom he met at theatre school.
- Did the radioshow 'Mannen van de radio' from 1995 until 1997 with Pieter Bouwman. In the last year of the show Theo Maassen replaced him.
